Your Knowledge Center For Mental Health, CBD, PTSD, and Alternative Treatments
We started this mental health blog to talk about trauma-related issues so we can overcome the cultural stigma around mental health and ultimately save lives.
We talk about holistic medicine and seeing a person as a “whole”. You can’t just treat the physical body. You have to take into account emotional, mental, spiritual, and social factors that affect a person’s condition. That’s why traditional medicine should be supported by alternative treatments to get the best results.
Blogs about mental health helped lots of people recognize and describe symptoms and issues they’re experiencing. To seek help, you first need to acknowledge you need it. Raising awareness is at the core of this mental health care blog. We want to show people that they aren’t alone in their struggle and that healing is possible.
We understand what veterans are going through because some of us experienced the same. That’s why we created the Guards Down community. We want to share our experiences with mental health issues so we can overcome them together. Support groups are immensely helpful for starting the healing process.
Use these resources to inform yourself about the things you’re going through so you can reach out for help when you’re ready. You should find a solution that fits best with your experience. Starting conversations about mental health is our way to offer various possible solutions.
